Muse, Foo Fighters and Eminem Reportedly Headlining Lollapalooza Aug 5 - 7 2011

Foo Fighters, Muse and Eminem are among the headliners for the 2011 Lollapaloozafestival, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The names of three other headliners for the August festival have yet to be released. The official lineup and schedule won't be announced until April, and no acts have been officially confirmed. A handful of other groups have already been rumored, however, including Crystal Castles, Girl Talk, Lykke Li and Best Coast.

I think that it is almost impossible not to be moved when listening to this song and I will always listen to it from time to time. Debussy did it to express Verlaine's poem:

The Opera Carmen, by Bizet, is probably one of the most famous operas and has been inspiring filmmakers, theater's directors and visual artists till today. This performance by Placido Domingo is one of the most intense. The movie "Carmen" by Carlos Saura, 1983, gathered Paco de Lucia, Antonio Gades and a great cast. One of the must-sees of my list.

I remember when the album The Head of the Door was launched in 1985 and the impact it created because it was a The Cure with something extra. Flamenco guitar, castanets and this video with the flamenco dancers of "The Blood" is a classic.

I like Gwen Stefani very much and felt like sharing one of her videos. I decided for this one instead of Hella Good that has a rhythm that I feel more connected.

After seeing some comments at Youtube of some women claiming that they can relate to this song I started thinking that this is exactly what we all want, men and women: a simply kind of life. God! How it can be that it is becoming so hard?

There she is with her family. It seems she got it, of course with all the problems of a simple kind of life, but she is not a "celebrity" whose photo is daily at the news showing any silly event.

She is a singer. God! How hard it is to find good singers today!
